A personal favourite, this exceptional limited edition denim is a nod of the hat to Kojima, the birth place and HQ of Japanese denim production since it all began. A small town in the Okayama prefecture, anyone who is anyone in the denim business is either located here or produces here. The last out post of denim artisans.
The denim is made on using the famous (now redundant) GL3 machine, the complete opposite of modern efficiency. It slowly weaves the denim over time to produce an amazing quality eneven cloth, only making enough denim per day to make 20 jeans. The machine is now redundant and this jean is limited to just 120 numbered pairs.
The badge is a soft calf skin with an image of the GL3 machine. Zip fly. Pink Selvage. Regular fit with low rise. Highly recommended. Made in Japan (of course).
